Hi,

E1 and F1 error code indicates a faulty ERC board. Disconnect power to the range (unplug the range power cord or turn the power off to the range at the circuit breaker). It is very important that the power to the range has been disconnected, so please double check before continuing. Gain access inside the control panel.Disconnect the touch pad (also called keypad or membrane switch) ribbon from the ERC. Make sure there are no lose wires, or anything else that may cause a short when power is turned back on. Assemble the control panel back the way it was.Turn the power back on. Wait for an hour to see if the code comes back (usually accompanied by a beeping sound). If code comes back, replace the ERC. If it does not, replace the touch pad.

Thank you !!

Oven locked with door open how do I reset it?

my first thought is if the oven is standard 220 three or four prong electric, for safety, go to breaker switch panel,"in House or outside of house", open pannel door and find the breaker switch marked for "oven" or "kitchen utility" . it will be a double switch of 20 to 25 amp ,"each". or it will b One breaker switch of 45-50 amp. ,switch it to off. then see that the oven has no power, the stove top as well as the lights and the oven .try to unlock it now. by lever or button ? then if not unlocking turn the breaker back on and try it again. hope it works for you.

Electrolux oven wont work after cleaning

Hi ja1078063,

I understand you having trouble getting your oven to work after using the self-cleaning mode. Does any part of the oven work? Confirm a fuse is not blown or a circuit breaker tripped. Test the power outlet with a lamp, hair dryer, etc.
Does "Loc" appear in the display if any button is pushed?
The Oven Lockout feature automatically locks the oven door, prevents most oven controls from being turned ON. Press and hold CLEAR/OFF for 3 seconds. A beep will sound. LOC will clear. The "DOOR LOCKED" will continue to flash until the oven door has completely unlocked.

Best Regards,

Oven doesn't heat

Hi Sharon Knight - Does any part of the range work? I would recommend verifying that a fuse is not blown or a circuit breaker tripped. Test the power outlet with a lamp, hair dryer, etc. Another questions, does "Loc" appear in the display if any button is pushed? The Oven Lockout feature automatically locks the oven door, prevents the warmer drawer and most oven controls from being turned ON. If so, press and hold CLEAR/OFF for 3 seconds. A beep will sound. LOC will clear. The "DOOR LOCKED" will continue to flash until the oven door has completely unlocked. Does the clock display "Sd" or "dddd"? If so, the clock is in sales demo mode. Press and hold the "BAKE TIME" button for 6 seconds to exit sales demo mode. If this does not prove to be successful, contact a professional to have EOC diagnosed and/or to confirm that there isn't a wiring failure.

The display shows LOC - but the door is open - cant turn on the oven

Hello & Welcome to FixYa
After reading your question the problem seems to be with the control which got locked. To unlock the controls press and hold the STOP/OVEN LOCK button for 20 seconds. If the problem returns then check the door and make sure it is fine, after this you can unplug the unit for 15 minutes and then try to reset it again. Please get back to me if you have any other questions.

I was able to clear the locked door message, and get over working following steps above, but cannot get the lock mechanism to release, and therefore cannot close the door

Check out these steps at the following link... http://www.geappliances.com/search/fast/infobase/10004586.htm

Range - "LOC DOOR" flashes in the display

If "LOC DOOR" is flashing in the display of your range or oven, and the self-clean cycle has not been selected, follow the steps below to reset your control:

Motorized Switch
    1. With the door open, locate the door jamb switch on the face of the oven. It will look like a small black post or dowel.
    2. Push it in until the oven cavity light goes off, indicating that the oven believes the door is closed.
    3. While you hold the door jamb switch in this position, complete the following steps.
    4. Press the Clean pad, wait 10 seconds.
    5. When the cycle initiates, press the clear/off or cancel pad immediately to cancel it.
    6. Wait 10 seconds for the display to clear.
    7. The door should unlock and there should not be a need for service.
Manual Switch
    1. Press the Clean pad.
    2. Close the door.
    3. Slide the latch to lock the door.
    4. Hit the cancel button immediately.
    5. Unlock the door.

After self cleaning today, the oven will not unlock and shows E1 F5 on the display. What do we do to unlock?

The E1- F5 error is a door lock error.

The control (TIMER) has likely failed in this instance - BUT...

Sometimes when you disconnect power to a range and reconnect it the electronic range control gets confused.
You should disconnect power again for 15 seconds and reconnect and see if that helps.

If it doesn't cure the E1- F5 error hold the bake button in until E0- F2 appears in the display.
This is the error for a stuck button on the keypad and is the way to clear the memory of the electronic range control.

Sometimes these work, but if the control has failed it won't make any difference.

Oven does not work

According to the manual, the self cleaning latch could be stuck.

If the oven door is open, press STOP/CLEAR to clear display, then depress and hold switch plunger for 6 seconds (Located in the upper right corner of the oven front) and the oven door will unlock.

If the oven door is locked, press STOP/CLEAR to clear the display then apply pressure to the upper right corner of the oven door and the door will unlock. If the "F" code reappears, contact a Sears trained repair specialist.
