Troublesshoot -dell insipiron 1525 speaker

did you install the driver for the device go to dell they still support this device reinstall the correct drive for the bluetooth

If you are using the Dell Webcam then i know what's wrong. Go to the Dell Webcam Consol click effects. If "Enable Audio Affects" box is checked then uncheck it. This takes away the audio affect you are hearing in speakers.

you can adjust the volume during a call by moving the direction key (joystick) upwards or downwards

u increase the volume.....for example make a sample call...while calling now press the forward direction button in ur mobile....volume ll increase...

is the volume alll the way up? You have to turn the volume up while during a call as well. Not just the phone settings

This is gonna sound funny, but have you tried turning the volume up on the phone?

If so, is the sound good when you put it on speaker? If it does, you just have a faulty ear piece.

Try to update the voice card driver. Or there has some problem in your Dell inspiron 1525 battery voice box interface (port) and mainboard interface.

go into the control panel under sound and make sure the volume is at least half way in the middle of the slide selector. also check the volume nob on your speakers, and there is also a volume control in media player. If all that does not work, download and reinstall the audio driver from dell site, link below (if you are using winXP)

I have the same computer and had the same issues. It finally got to the point where it no longer tured on at all. I sent it in to Dell and they repaired in about 2 weeks. Send it in now before your warranty expires. But be sure to call support first and get an RMA number or you may never see your system again.

Here's how I fixed mine with Win-VISTA:

1. Click START
2. Click CONTROL PANEL
3. (Switch to CLASSIC VIEW)
a. Click on SOUND
b. Click on PLAYBACK Tab
c. Click on SPEAKERS/HEADPHONES
d. Click on PROPERTIES
e. Click on CUSTOM Tab
i. Make sure PC SPK MUTE is NOT checked
f. Click on LEVELS Tab
i. Slide PC SPEAKER to 100%
ii. Don’t worry about the SPEAKER slider, it’s controlled by the keyboard buttons
g. Click on ENHANCEMENTS Tab
i. Make sure LOUDNESS EQUALIZATION is checked
h. Click OK
i. Click OK
4. Close CONTROL PANEL
