I have a Casio G-Shock Solar Model 2688 and the alarm goes off at midnight and will continue for a half hour, like the snooze is set. I only have it set to go off at 0430, I have checked my manual and cannot find anything set wrong. Any ideas?
What you have to do is
1. press the mode button until you get to the setting that has "AL" at the bottom right.
2. then you press the "receive" button to switch between the four alarms.
3. as you are going through each alarm time, you need to look in the circle at the top right. When you are going through the alarm times, if there is a mark next to "ALM", you need to press the "time memo" button so that the mark next to "ALM" is no longer there.
4. repeat step fout for all of the alarms, and the problem should be fixed.
I've finally found how to turn off the annoying alarms in gshock by solution given in below blog.

I have not used your particular model, but had others that are similar to it.
Many of these watches have more than one alarm! I have one by a different manufacture that has three alarms. I had the same problem.
Unless you get the other alarms in your watch to show, you will not know if they are set, and what they are set to. Midnight is the default setting on many of these alarms. It is the 00:00 hour of the day. When most of these watches are new out of the box, they will have their alarms set at midnight. (This can be annoying for the average person).
Refer to your instruction manual about multiple alarms. Most of the watch manufactures also have downloadable instructions on PDF, and also have demo sites about how to set their watches.
