they look like tiny resisters, you check them with an ohm meter and they should show little resistance, have you checked the resisters in the convergence area there should be about 6 of them 1.6 ohm to 3.9 ohms.

C603 is a polyestor capacitor 0.068UF-FEB 50V part number 0880047R S901 is the power relay ALKS329 the part number for the relay is FJ00142 . I recomend checking the pins on the ICs to make sure they are not bridged. If you need more assistance let me know. Vance Baldwin should have the parts if not you may have to order through hitachi

it's a convergence problem, as mentioned go into Settings in the TV
menu and select Convergence if Auto it will do it when you select this.
If not it will ask you to do "Multi-Point Convergence" which will bring
up a huge grid on your screen. You must use the TV remote and using
your up and down and left and right buttons to place the "curser" on
each grid and adjust the Red and Blue on each point till you get a pure
white "grid point" Think of the picture as split up into say 72
different puzzle pieces and when you adjust each piece it fixes that
one piece of the puzzle or screen. You want all lines to be pure white
and by looking at the grid if you see either blue or red on the side of
the white line, you want to move the right, left, up or down button so
that the blue or red line gets back on track with it's corresponding
white line grid.
It sounds complicated but you will get it after a few seconds of
playing around with it. Convergence should be done after the TV has
been on for at least 30 minutes and should be done at least once a year
(twice would be better at minimum) You see the problem with RPTV is
they use three color lenses and as you watch TV, the lenses over time
get out of alignemnt and need to be readjusted to get a clear sharp
picture.
I adjusted a TV once that had never been converged in ten years and it
took me over two hours to get all 72 points back on track, once done
you will notice a way sharper picture and the colors won't be off
kilter.
It takes time, but once you get it, you'll get it. I converge mine once
a month and it takes me about 2-3 minutes to do the whole screen
because I keep up to date on my 58" Pioneer RPTV.

please check all the lights that are in the chassis hitachi puts led in the chassis so that if one of the lights are not working then u know that circuit is bad. now there is 2 things that hit has wroung in the units and that is a 2kv hv cap of the horiz output transistor that burns up and kill the power supply look for a small black or brown fuse it will not have glass on it it is rt behind the reg ic in the center of the chassis it allwas opens up because of the hv cap doonot run the tv without out that cap it will overload the horiz drive and will burn upo the horiz output but u have a very good ctv ther if u fix it will last u a long time and it is a very easy tv to trouble shoot.

Hello Soleftright,
I have CK24 as a 1000pf 50v cap. Look at CK25 it is the same value as CK20 - CK24. Were your convergence ICs STK392-110s? One side of the cap goes to pin 14 of the (IK-04) IC and the other to ground.
I hope this helps
Thank you,
