There is so many different Locle pocket watches it's impossible to say for sure without more information and would be speculation on my part.

To get the most accurate info the best thing to do is take a picture of any numbers and hallmarks and post them along with the request for info on a watch forum.
The links below are your best bet.
Hope this helps and good luck.

I have a C.G.Iliffe - Barrow in Furness, 18k solid gold pocket watch with sn:69043. 18k Solid gold case marked FT. This watch was presented to my great grandmother by the Transvaal Government, for her...

At that time, it was common practice that jewellers shops would have their name put on watches that they sold.
I would suggest that it's almost certainly a Swiss movement - are there any numbers or characters stamped on the movement (you might need a loupe or magnifying glass to see them)?
An 18ct case would not have been used to house a low quality movement!

Hi.

Pull the hand adjust out and move the hands back and forward to make it hasn't seized up, also try another battery just in case the other one is not fully charged up.

Have a waltham pocket watch in an illinois case enameled dial with a recessed seconds dial at bottom with a numeric 6. seconds on face also. can't find year or pic of this watch

If you go to the web site "www.antique-pocket-watch.com/waltham-pocket-watch.html", you will find information about Waltham watches and if you read the serial number off the movement (open the back and read it off the back plate), you may be able to find out the year of manufacture.

How find serial number on ~1910 hamilton pocket watch?

The serial number is usually engraved on the movement. If you open the back of the watch, you should be able to see it.

I looked at the Hamilton pocket watch site (in might be helpful if you visit the site, simply type "hamiltonpocketwatches.com" into your search engine and your will be able to examine photos of a number of movements).

The position and size of the number varies but it shouldn't take to long to find. One of the pictures I found impossible to see the number but the rest I found, although sometimes you had to look quite carefully.
