Error code E:01
Hi and welcome to Fixya, The E01 error for your bosch indicates a door lock problem has been detected at the control board. Insure the door is closed tight, turn your breaker off or unplug the washer for a couple of minutes and retry. Let me know what happens, ultimately it may be a faulty lock assembly, a loose wire harness etc. but we'll cross that bridge when we get there...if necessary. If you're still watching this... I have the same problem and I have unplugged the washer for about ten minutes and tried again to no avail. Its not under warrantee and I am out of the service area for the nearest Bosch Certified tech. Any ideas on where to begin?
The lock engages and then repeatedly tries to engage itself afterwards so I think the issue is with the wiring that would send back a 'locked' signal.

Hi... Would love to hear the follow up to the E01 error code. I unplugged it etc & still have the issue. What nexxt? How do I detect it's just a latch issue and nothing else. Or is the latch issue a warning sign for something else not displayed? Your help would be greatly appreciated. ~Rowland
