Getting an E6E error on my Frigidaire GLTF2940ES2 washing machine. What does it mean? The code is not in my owners manual. Machine starts but stops after a few minutes. It is now full of wet clothes and won't run for more than a few minutes, then it shuts off. Please help Debbie

Find the error code reference in your owners manual or check on the companies web site to determine the meaning of the error code and then try to fix .

check in the manual for the error code most of washing machine if the error code is in users manual its means its only minor problem,but if the error code is not in users manual its means you need to call an service technician to not waste your money or time if you do by your self.

You'll want to check your owner's manual under "Troubleshooting" for direction. With the front loaders, they are computers in todays cars. Every manufacturer has different codes for different problems. If your book doesn't help, you'll need to contact Frigidaire.

Hi,

E6E is a communication error between the motor control board and and the machine control panel. But I doubt this has anything to do with your water supply issue.

The water supply can be stopped from several things including lack of water to the unit (flood safe hoses usually), the control board not sending power to the valve, the valve itself being bad, or most likely would be the door lock is not recognizing it's latched so it's not advancing.

eb3 = incomming line voltage below 90 volts

check voltage at outlet, if above 90 volts replace control board
would strongly recomend having a profesional look at it ... this should save both of you some time and money though.....
