My husqvarna sewing machine is running a little crazy. When I embrioder with it,I can only run it for a couple of hours before it makes a squeeking sound then shouts itself off

When I wind a bobbin, I have to untighten the wheel center. Make sure your machine's wheel center is tightened and try again.

sounds like the card reader is not functioning right or the card reader and the computer are not communicating correctly, I the problem continues, the machine may have to be checked

yes, it's possible. also could be the on/off switch, or the power cord.

it would be a good idea to have the machine checked to see what's causing the squeeking problem and what's causing the pedal to get hot.

Has the take up lever been replaced with the new updated one that does not let the thread slip out?

Make sure that the bobbin winder stop is up. That is the little black post below the bobbin winder. If it is pressed down, the machine will not run.

Take off all the outside covers you can, then basically put a drop of oil on anything that moves when you turn the machine over by hand. After this run the machine for a couple of minutes with no thread or fabric, you then need to wipe up any excess oil and refit all the covers.

Make sure the bobbin winder isnt engaged this can cause the clutch to engage and the motor will run but the machine wont sew

They occasionally need oiling. You should have received a tube of oil when the machine was purchased. If you don't have any, try to find Tri Flow oil available at bicycle shops or Amazon.com. If you are unable to find it, you can use machine oil but not 3n1 oil. These are excellent machines and I still have mine. It may be well worth having it serviced at an authorized husqvarna viking dealer.
