Connection problems I purchased several home docking stations for my Delphi SKYFi3 and it was finicky about connecting when the battery was fully charged. Now it only works in one of them and shuts off when I try to use it with the antennae headphones. I tried uploading the latest firmware and that helped with the docking stations; at least with one of them I was able to listen live. Before it only let me be in recorded mode and wouldn't connect. Perhaps there's a short in the power or the antennae connectors? Since I've invested in 3 home docks, car dock and two headsets, I really don't want to start over with another brand. I'd appreciate any suggestions. Does anyone repair the units or do I have to purchase another whole kit? thanks!

No, internal battery is NOT accessible. Leave it plugged for about 4 hours until it says "battery charging" and then 'battery charged' on the display. THEN give it a try to power up by holding down the power button for about 2 seconds. Let me know if this works for you.
Your dock connector has a cold solder. Resolder the antenna pins to the board. The antenna pins are the 1 n-shaped pin (connects to 2 pads) with 1 pin in the middle. Resolder your middle pin.
First: push VOL UP and POWER and hold both at the same time to RESET the unit. Then use the MiniUSB cable to load the latest firmware from the Delphi/XM radio website. If you still have an issue after the firmware update, then call Delphi directly for assistance.
Car cradle works "wirelessly" with Car Radio (inherent design of unit). Place Unit in Cradle; connect Cradle to Auto Power Source, and SkyFi3 should power on. Press Menu to Get FM Radio station channels; select a lower station Channel Frequency i.e. 88.3 or any vacant channel number and the signal should transfer to your Radio speakers automatically. You can change Station frequencies as often as you need to do so--for example if traveling through different broadcast areas, some channels frequencies are clearer than others.
Good luck.
May have a bad docking station? Check power AT THE PLUG. I believe that it is 5 volts.Check fuse inline of the cig adapter by unscrewing the tip. Fuse is inside.
i just had the same problem, read about reset by holding volume up and mode/power button at the same time, held about 5 seconds and the unit powered up, good luck
