I have a Medion notebook model 96500.
The keyboard locks and then I have to reboot. I have downloaded a patch -touchpad WIM 2040 from the medion website but the problem continues.
Removing or deleting Trusted Devices from the Micosoft account fixed the problem. There were incorrect and incompatible settings from a previous tablet that were disabling the keyboard. From a different computer, sign in to Microsoft account, Overview, Security, Trusted Devices, select the hotlink Remove all the Trusted Devices associated my account. Refresh Windows completely. All fixed.
You should try downloading KEYBOARD Driver. TouchPad refers to MOUSE.

Examine your keyboard to ensure your "Number Lock" key is not activated.
This activation is indicated by the key being lit up.
If the key is activated, press it to deactivate the lock.
The number lock key will deactivate an entire segment of your keyboard
Start, click Run, and type regedit to open the Windows registry editor.
In the registry, open the below folders.
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\
Control Panel\
Keyboard\
Within the keyboard folder, you should have a string value named "InitialKeyboardIndicators" with a value of 0, 1, or 2. Below is the explanation of each of these values.
0 = Num Lock is turned OFF after the logon.
1 = Disable Num Lock.
2 = Numlock is turned ON after the logon.
hope this helps
