My dad is using my old enV. whenever he wants to check his voicemail it calls my number. How can i fix this?

call your voicemail, go into the options menu and go to message notification and turn it on.

Speaker as gone go to your local phone repair shop they will fix it for you

No, it does not. This phone is a 2-plus year-old model that has been replaced by the LG enV-2, which does have the visual voice mail.

Probably not, but the voice mail extension is still a dialable number. Try 500 or 165 or asking whoever installed it what the extension is.

It will prompt you the same as if you had pressed the MESSAGE button, only there will not be any new messages. You just have to play the OLD messages and you'll hear them.

you need to check and see if your keypad in settings is set to continuous if not set it to that.

You can tranfer your pics and phone book by using the tools on verizonwireless.com. You will loose your ringtones and games if you have any of those downloaded.

*If you plan on just throwing your old phone away you can report your phone as lost to verizon and they will let you re-download all your ringtones and games to your new phone. But if you do that they will place a block on the seiral number on the old phone so that no one else can use that phone.

This problem seems to be related to the contacts list - makes no sense but in my Son's Env phone if he removes one of his contacts it fixes it! it seems that it only happens when someone in your contact list calls or you call them. Weird...then it will happen again and same thing fixes it.
