You can download the Lexmark printer drivers from their support WEB site. Please click on this link and select your model printer to download :- http://support.lexmark.com/index?page=home&locale=EN&userlocale=EN_US&segment=DOWNLOAD

If you have the printer CD, install it by placing in CD drive and run setup.

if you dont have printer cd.. Please download the drivers from

depends on the Operating system. and install on laptop. just follow the instuctions on installation.

You can install the printer with the software only
.As you don't have the cd so you have to download the it.
You can download it from HERE.
Just select the Operating system and the version which ever you want.

If your trying just to install the drivers, goto http://downloads.lexmark.com/perl/downloads/downloads.cgi

Type in your model ie:X5470 and you can download the drivers for your operating sytem right from the Lexmark web page. I asume the the machine is using USB to print, so download the driver and install it, then plug the USB cable from the printer into your computer and windows will do the rest.

Use the link below to select your operating system and it will lead you to the driver (the software you need to install your printer) download page. You should be able to install your printer with the correct driver.

Hello, depending on your operating system it should be recognised as soon as you plug it in and switch it on, you'll need to load the specific driver/s for it first. Download them from www.brother.co.uk look for support/software top right hand corner of their homepage.

You say your computer was incompatible? What does that mean? You should be able to get the software installed this way:

1. Go to the Lexmark Find Drivers/Product Selector page.
2. Enter Lexmark X5470 under "Search by Model", and click the Search button.
3. Select your OS from the dropdown (XP, Vista etc.).
4. Click Download Now.
5. If you're asked to Save or Run, choose to Run (it keeps you from having to go find the file and double-click it later).
