Comcast.net e-mail sign-in on Sony Vaio laptop is not working. will keep on bouncing back to 'log inpage'. my password and account work on any other computer. thanks

Go into system, find the wi-fi adapter and open it up. Choose uninstall and click on it. If windows asks you if you want to remove the software from the hard drive say no. Wait for uninstall to complete than shut down the computer, shut down, not reboot. Wait a couple of minutes than turn it back on, sign in and let windows find and reinstall the driver. It now should work. 9 times out of 10 this corrects this issue.

From my MSI laptop i can't log-in in my administrator profile even if i entered my correct password

Check theses:
1- CapsLock.
2- NumLocks.
3- Keyboard Layout (AZERTY / QWERTY).

if not working then :
1- Get Hiren's Boot CD from then intrenet, it's an ISO file.
2- Burn that ISO on a CD.
3- reboot your machine with that CD.
4- On the menu that appears choose to reset windows password.
Reboot, the password is none just type enter.

Good Luck.

I have spilled just a spoon of water on my laptop, after it the keyboard is not working a t all, i cant even log into bios. i have sony vaio vgn z series laptop, i tried to delete the driver, and when...

When this happens, you should fully disassemble the laptop & thoroughly inspect its inside. Look for any traces of liquid on the circuit boards & on other components. On circuit boards, liquid damage appears in the form of whitish traces. These needs to be wiped off. This can be done using a tooth brush moistened with few drops of hand sanitizer liquid.
Check all internal connectors & make sure that no liquid seeped into them. Dry them if needed.
When you are done, re-assemble back the laptop.
If the liquid fell on the keyboard & you found out that the keyboard is no longer working, then you will have to replace the keyboard.

Letter O Only WOrks with the Shift key

Boot from the install DVD. Go into Utilities. Go into Reset Password. Don't reset any passwords, just get into one of the screens where it lets you type things into a field. If the lower-case o doesn't work here, you have a keyboard hardware problem If it does:
Reboot normally, go into System Preferences / Accounts, and define a new temporary user account. Log out and log in as that user. See if the lower-case O works. If it does, you likely have a bad setting for keyboard type in System Preferences / International in your main user account.

My VAIO laptop will not load my desktop

Try booting to safe mode (F8 when you see the Sony window), and sign on as administrator. Go to the control panel and see if there is a password for your account name.

Sony Vaio VGN FE41M

If you have admin login, you should be able to use this to set up another admin account or a user account.

Try pressing F8 on startup and try and login to the computer.
