Hello
Both cable tv and satelite tv have a converter box that the signal is put out on channel #3. What you have to do is just have the converter box's output cable wire going to the tv's analog antenna input, the tuner in analog mode and on channel #3 for it to work.

I have an rca f36648 entertainment series tube tv. it has right white and yellow video input on the back that i attempted to plug my playstation 3 into however when i set it to the video input channel it...

It is compatible. The yellow cable is the video portion of the input and the white is the audio portion of the input. When you do this and switch the video mode or change the channel to number 3, it should work

The inputs on my RCA scenium dlp tv wont work.

It sounds like your talking about the ITC222 chassis series which is having a small signal board problem. Very common in the RCA ITC222 and ITC222A Chassis HDTV's

Front panel blocked or locked

RCA Entertainment Series 32" Plus Gold, GEMSTAR, xbox ready has been in the shop twice so far. Transformer replaced and 6 months later the picture suddenly had horizontal white lines that gradually spaced apart more from top to bottom and it had a gray hue and fuzzy, but I still watched it for 3 months that way. Today I turned it on and about a minute later I heard a loud crackling sound coming from the back and the picture disappeared, screen went black. Is it worth fixing again? RCA Entertainment Series PiP CRT, black screen, static/squeel sound

Hello krysis2000,

Sounds that this might be the proverbial problem some brands have, specially RCA (funny this problem still exists. It was around even when I was a resident engineer for RCA Corp. 20 years ago and hasn't been modified). This problem relates to the tuner assembly. It is a relatively easy fix for a skilled technical person. The cost of repairing it shouldn't even be close to its replacement value, so, in my opinion, worth fixing. Since I do not know the model or age of your TV set (or the inclination you might have to take this as an excuse to get a new HDTV set - LOL), it is entirely your call!!
Hope this helps. Let me know.
