An example on how to download and save to an External Hard Drive and copy and paste to an External Hard Drive Click start all programs accessories open windows explorer navigate to your data Right click on the data select copy navigate back to the External Drive.
or right click on the data select paste or select the data hold the mouse cursor then drag the data to your usb drive then drop it in or if you are downloading data from the internet.
Once it starts downloading windows will ask whether you want to run or save it a browse option will open you can save it into your External Drive or a folder in my documents or another device or a usb device Hope this helps.
Yes, the file system is corrupted and will need to be formatted for the drive to work again. You will unfortunately lose all your data unless you take the drive to a data recovery specialist to recover the data but that can get get quite expensive to it's up to you.
1. The TV and drive may not be compatible with each other.
2. The formatting of the drive could be the problem. The USB memory stick would be formatted as FAT32, but the Iomega drive would have been formatted as NTFS. Maybe the TV can only read drives formatted as FAT32 and not NTFS.
My Iomega (33654) 500GB USB isn't working. When I turn it on the blue light comes on for a few seconds. I can hear / feel it working but then the light goes off (it is still whirring inside). The computer isn't recognising it. I think it's still under guarantee but I can't find the paperwork. Do you have any ideas?
Does the Iomega show up under 'my computer'?
It should be another drive (D, E, F whatever) and as such you put stuff on to it the same way you would put stuff on to your C drive.
I am sure that you have unplugged the external drive and tried it again. Have you tried it on a different system? You can install the drivers to another computer and see if that will resolve the issue. If it does, you will need to uninstall the current drivers on your PC and then reinstall them. Does this Iomega have a bus connection. Not all bus connections load the driver automatically. You may have to go to Iomega website and get the driver. Then you just have to get rid of the one that you have (may be corrupted) and install this one.
Yes.
The MiniMax is designed to match the MacMini from Apple and comes formatted out of the box to work with a Mac. (One of the few drives that is!)
I think Iomega supply various Windows drivers on the CD
