You have to find one of two ways to remove the upper part of the machine.First, unplug the machine from the power source on the wall.By the upper part , I mean the lid of the drum. The first way is to check the back of the machine for a plate cover that is taller than the lid and cover of machine. If that plate is present then that plate has to be removed. If not , then go to the front of the machine and with a large flat head screw driver insert from the front on each corner and pry the lid up . you will see various styles of clips that hold the drum lid down and you will use the screw drivvito relase the lid . From there you should be able to remove the debris. To re-assemble simply drop the lid and re-secure the drum lid by pushing down on the front.

Clothes stuck in drum

You might have a drum glide, felt piece, that has come off or unaligned itself from the drum. Contact Frigidaire for one and replace it. You have too much of a gap in the front and that is why your clothing material gets caught.

Washer motor humms and won't spin after filing up with water

remove the water pump from the motor but not from the hoses and start the washer. if it starts then you have a sock or something caught inside the pump holding the motor. remove the object or replace the pump if needed. if the motor wont start then unplug the washer, remove the motor and turn by hand. if it feels hard replace motor. if it moves then leave motor out and move the gear case where the motor connects by hand. if it wont move then 2 things may happen. 1)gear case lockup or a piece of clothing caught between the tubs.

if the washer agitates but wont spin with the humming sound then I say the later. a piece of clothing caught between the tubs.

At least one piece of clothing per cycle gets caught in the gap between the spinning drum and the dryer housing. It leaves a burnt looking mark on that piece where it stuck.

Could be the drum seal has worn, or the drum bearings are worn, or the drum is off center.
Please rate my solution.
Thanks.

Clothes get caught between the drum and the front of the inside nonmovable part of the dryer and we are getting snags of the clothing inside and ruining the clothes

there is suppose to be a felt type piece that goes on the drum to full that gap it may have fell off . its a struggle to put on unless the drum is accessible. you can pop the top of the machine off to get better access.

May have an article of clothing stuck between drums

possible that ther is a piece of clothing, if you can "pop" the top and tilt the top back, you can then unsnap the upper tub ring cover, that tub "floats in the unit so you can lift it right out. as far as the f51 what was the result on that?? thas usually requires replacing trhe "rps" sensor and main control board, id call whirplool depending on age for that matter

Clothes getting caught between Tub and wall inside dryer

there is uaually a rubber or composite gasket that fits inside the dryer drum with the front cover in place. the "rollers" as you call it is just pieces of felt glued to theexternal drum and front face and are the drum bearings. check appliance repair parts for the proper gasket and how to mount it to your front panel.

Clothes getting caught on inside of dryer

There are a couple of guide wheels in the back of the dryer. when they get worn out the tub will have excessive play and will trap clothes inside. Just remove the front cover loosen the belt and remove the drum. the worn wheels will be easy to spot. It is an easy and cheap fix.

Drum is stuck

Maybe that a sock or other piece of clothing get between the clothes tub and the outer tub. Open washer's main access panel and remove the large-diameter rubber hose that connects the pump to the bottom of the outer tub. Then, try to remove the clothing through the port. keep a rag nearby to dry up spillage of water when removing the rubber host. Good luck !!
