Why is my keyboard so annoyingly slow to respond when in Yahoo mail? I had this problem back in the fall when I purchased my new HP laptop and contacted yahoo mail experts via email. I was advised to disable .... something? And that worked. I only have this problem in yahoo mail and it doesn't matter which browser I use although I use Explorer. Ever since I downloaded the latest yahoo toolbar a few days ago, the problem is back in spades! Can anyone tell me what the heck it is I can disable that will help resolve this? I can't type emails. Wah!

If 'Internet Explorer is not responding' there can be many reasons why. It may be your internet connection is very busy and slow. It may be your computer is running slow. Do a Google search for 'broadband speed test' and see what speed you are getting. If it is less than 4 Mb/sec you have a slow connection. Try getting your present computer running at its best.
Delete all unnecessary software and old emails
Run a hard disk scan and de-fragment
Run a good anti-virus and spyware check
You can get 1000's of suggestions for the 'best machine'! But I guess on a new machine you want a proper keyboard, a reasonably sharp screen. PC Pro Magazine recommends ASUS Transformer Book T100 Windows 8.1 for 290 pounds, (400 dollars) as a Budget Buy and 5* rating.

Try changing to a lower screen resolution size first. For some people, this works and forces Yahoo to ask you if you want to revert back to Mail Classic. This fix does not work for everyone though, but do try it.

If this doesn't work, go to the help pages and contact Yahoo through there. I've previously sent people instructions on how to contact Yahoo to restore Mail Classic, but I've found out recently that Yahoo is extremely slow in responding through that avenue, sometimes they don't even respond.

Yahoo requires written authorization to restore your Mail Classic, so when you do contact them, you need to tell them that you do want it restored.

They also want feedback, they want to know why you're wanting to change back so they can better improve the new version.

The new version is full of bugs, I've responded to hundreds of people wanting to change back.

I had that problem on my laptop running Windows 7 with 4gig.
Switching back to Yahoo Mail Classic fixed it.

Well, you should try to install flash player, active x and java RE. You can download of those for.

However, you can switch your yahoo to an older version and check if it helps.

I went back to Yahoo mail and clicked on All New Mail. This is found by the Sign out button. In other words, you need to switch from mail classic to the other type that looks like outlook.
