It's a server issue or too much latency in your internet connection.

Because PSN are carrying out system maintenance. There's nothing wrong with your PS3 or internet connection. Try signing in again around 9pm.

Sorry, your just gunna have to wait it out. I heard of a Jailbreak but idk. PSN is undergoing some stuff or what not.I think playstaion is under mantenance , that `s why it is throwing this error.

Check status on twitter....

If this is the first time you are having this issue it is possible that the playstation network may be down. If not try manually configuring your PS3 IP info. You can also try disabling medai server connection in the PS3. The link below will bring you to a form with a more detailed resolution. Scroll down the the bottom of the form for the info needed.

Sounds like you may need to forward your ports for psn in your routers advanced settings. try looking up your routers make on portforward.com for a tut on how to do it. I dont have the ports u need to open either so try a google for the port ranges that psn use. Also check tht ur settings are correct wep code if your wireless etc. Hope this helps a bit :D
