I have a Westell E90-610014-06 Router hooked up through an ethernet cable to a computer and I wanted to get a connection going through the router to another computer nearby. I was wondering if there are any adapters compatible with my router that I could hook up to my other computer or if there is any other way I can get the connection to my other computer besides a cord going directly to it.
Thanks
Run the modem to the router with Ethernet cable and then use one of the other Ethernet ports on the router and another Ethernet cable to connect desktop
Im dealing with the same think, I have the mode connected to the main coputer through the usb connection and im using the ethernet output to connect to my wirless router which is a Linksys wireless b router. My laptop can connect to the wireless router, but im not connected to the internet. Any idea of what im doing wrong.
So you have a modem and router set up, it's easy... if you want to use cable just get a Y cable, or option 2 install a wireless card on your pc to access the wireless network
