Adapters Compatible with the Westell E90-610014-06 Router?

I have a Westell E90-610014-06 Router hooked up through an ethernet cable to a computer and I wanted to get a connection going through the router to another computer nearby. I was wondering if there are any adapters compatible with my router that I could hook up to my other computer or if there is any other way I can get the connection to my other computer besides a cord going directly to it.
Thanks

Run the modem to the router with Ethernet cable and then use one of the other Ethernet ports on the router and another Ethernet cable to connect desktop

So you have a modem and router set up, it's easy... if you want to use cable just get a Y cable, or option 2 install a wireless card on your pc to access the wireless network

How do i connect my verizon dsl westell 6100 to my belkin g rtr?

Wellll....since it seemed an impossible task, I tried the next best thing.
I bought a wireless adapter for the other pc and voila! they are on the internet, and I am returning the router.

Westell modem + Verizon DSL w/usb = No connection to router.

I need help connecting a westell 7500 router/modem,i want to get a notebook on line. i didnt receive any intsructions.i need help connecting the westell 7500 to my pc and notebook thanking you.

Westell makes a line of broadband home networking products that enable residential customers and users in small businesses to access and share broadband services. These inexpensive DSL router/modems offer multi-users Internet LAN access for home or business applications. The Westell router/modems allow you to have the benefits of the "always on" high-speed broadband Internet connection without losing the ability to receive voice calls over the same phone line.
  1. Step 1 288254_thumb.jpg Connect one end of the Ethernet cable to the computer's Ethernet port. Connect the other end to the Ethernet port on the back of the Westell router.
  2. Step 2 Connect the barrel end of the router's power cord to the connector labeled "12 v" on the back of the router. Plug the other end of the power cord into a wall outlet.
  3. Step 3 Connect one end of the DSL phone cable to the DSL line jack on the back of the router. Connect the other end to the wall jack.
  4. Step 4 Wait for the Ready and the Link LEDs to glow steady green. The router is now ready to use.

I have switched to a Westell VersaLink 327W from a older Westell Wirespeed. The Wirespeed communicated via USB and the new Westell communicates via Ethernet. How do I get the computer to see the modem?

If you are using a Westell DSL modem with ethernet connection, then you connect the modem's ethernet port to the computer's network card. This also uses an ethernet cable. Good Luck

Desktop and two laptops won't work with modem & router now

Probably you used the wrong type of ethernet cable, a crossover one. Try another Ethernet cable but this time a straight one.

Cannot get wireless router to work with Xbox 360

Does the westell router only have 1 ethernet port, if so a ethernet hub would be better, they can be baught for about £10.
You will need to input your account settings for your broadband conection into your new router for it to work, with this router all you actually need to do is connect it to the 360 with an ethernet cable, if you want to use it wirelessly you need to buy a wireless adapter for the 360 for about £30 - £60 depending where you buy it.

How do i hook up a westell router to a moterola comcast modem?

Okay, well something is obviously wrong.
This is how it should be connected. Internet to modem, then with an Ethernet cable, connect the modem to the router (jack1) then with another Ethernet cable, connect the router (jack2) to the computer.
If you are still having problems, then contact your company to see if they could walk you through it, or if they needed to set things up.
Also, where are you connecting your laptop from? Is it very far from the router? Perhaps your router's signal strength isn't great enough? (This would mean getting a new, more powerful router.)

USB Connection

Hi floinmist .

Westell 6100 modem by default can only be used for 1 PC . It cannot orit is not enabled to use for 2or morer computers as it creates a conflict within. Ethernet connection is the BEST connection for you to use.> your USB is sent to you by you provider { ISP} or by westell packages. Its is only a spare cable just in case your PC doesnt support ethernet connection ,  nothing else.

To resolve this issue you might want to upgrade your modem to a router w/c is westell versalink . You can connect 2 or more computers  { wired or wireless connection } and is more stable compared to your westell 6100.

Connecting 2 computers could cause slow, intermittent and NO connections at all problems.

IF you have other questions pls feel free to ask and let me know if theres anything ii can assist you with .

Best wishes.

Prince
