I'm looking for a wiring diagram for the iphone cable connector. I brought a car kit which is wired for 12volts and I want to change it over to a USB connector so that it can be plugged into its wall socket. Any help will be most appreciated.

Wiring diagram for hard drive windows 7 model:lc-8360btx

A standard 3.5 inch Hard Drive has either an ATA Port or the newer SATA Port. The important point here is that they are not made specifically for Windows or Apple Mac. They are made by an outside OEM such as Hitachi, Western Digital or Seagate for example. They are all made to an interchangeable standard. They own the details for their drives & their wiring. Check your brand and look up their website to find the connection details.
Usually to connect to one of these drives (e.g. 3.5") we connect a data ribbon cable and three power wires. Ground, +12volts and +5volts. Thats it. No wiring diagram. The ATA cable matches the ATA socket or the SATA matches it's socket and the power connector matches it's other half.
When a drive fails it's just a matter of getting another drive of any brand & it should take the place of the Dead Drive. The drive could be anywhere from 500gb to 3 Terabyte in capacity. The connectors are all keyed so they don't go in the wrong way.

Kind of hard to give you a cable diagram, Roslyn, when you haven't stated what motherboard manufacturer and model number.

Or computer manufacturer and model number.

So we'll wing it..............

Widetech the Max. A modular line of Power Supplies.

1) Main power cable;
It will be either a 20-pin ATX main power cable, or a 24-pin ATX main power cable.

The WTM (Widetech the Max) will have a braided thick cable, that will have a 20-pin connector, and a 4-pin connector.

The 20-pin connector, and the 4-pin connector, should have a white arrow on the side. The arrows point to each other, when the two connectors are properly aligned with each other.

So, ATX main power cable plugs into Power Supply, (If removable), and 20 + 4-pin connector plugs into motherboard.

When the hooked end of the Lock, on the side of the power cable's connector; is over the Tab on the motherboard connector; the power cable is deemed to be plugged in properly, and tightly.

Note*
Orange wires are 3.3 Volts
Red wires are 5 Volts
Yellow wires are 12 Volts.
Black wires are Ground wires. (Also are Negative)

Note that the extra 4-pin power cable, that attaches with the 20-pin ATX power cable; has TWO Yellow wires, a Red wire, and a Black wire.
This way you don't accidentally somehow, plug the following power cable, in with the 20-pin ATX main power cable,


2) 4-pin ATX +12 Volt power cable:

When Processors started using more power, than just the processor socket (Motherboard) could deliver, this power cable was brought out to help carry the load.

Note*
TWO Yellow 12 volt wires, and TWO Black ground wires.

3) 8-pin EPS +12 Volt power cable:

Brought out for motherboards supporting multiple Processors, (CPU's), such as a server computer; but with processors needing more, and more power; is used quite frequently by motherboard manufacturers now.

NOTICE the power wires. The color code of the insulation of the wires.

Note that between a SATA power cable, and a SATA data cable; the SATA power cable's connector is longer.
SATA power cable connector has 15-pins.
SATA data cable's connector has 7-pins,

Note the L-shaped opening of the SATA data cable's connector; and the L-shape of the motherboard connector.
The SATA power cable has the same L-shaped opening.

NOTE that color of connectors does NOT matter.
Could be green with pink polka dots.
It is the wire color code, and connector SHAPE, that matters.

Sometimes the SATA power cable, and SATA data cable connectors; have a lock on them.
May not see it very well. It is usually a slightly raised bump on the connector. This is depressed with a thumb nail to unlock.

Unlock WHEN installing, and removing.

ALWAYS use the connector when plugging in, or unplugging a cable.
DO NOT pull on the wires.
(Even if you have to stand on your head, and whistle 'Dixie')

I lay the computer opening side UP, on a static free towel, on a table. Much easier to get to the cabling.

ONLY plug in the cables you need, to the Power Supply.
That's what Modular cabling is all about.
Gives more room when not using unnecessary cables, and more air flow through the computer case; for cooling.

I just installed a ThermalTake TR2 600 power supply. It is Modular Cabling also.

I'm willing to bet you didn't plug the Processor (CPU) power cable in.
Either a 4-pin ATX +12 Volt power cable, OR an 8-pin EPS +12 Volt power cable.

Make sure the Ram Memory is seated tightly also.
It get's bumped loose when installing a Power Supply.
No,.....you CANNOT just visually inspect, and let it go at that.

You HAVE to remove ALL ram memory modules ('Stick'), and plug them back in again; to be ASSURED that they/it are seated tightly, and correctly.

Wiring Diagram For Usb flashdrive

click start control panel administrative tools computer management device manager scroll down universal serial bus controllers you could see a yellow question / exclamation mark? ! or a red X

you will need to update/reinstall drivers

right click to reinstall drivers


if you can see your usb drive but its not working

ports (com&lpt) right click update driver if this fails to fix the problem


check the USB leads that attach to the motherboard usually ((red white green black)) make sure they are securely seated and have no dust build up on them dust will cause static and a lot of unforeseen problems to a computer and its parts

The S-GND wire is fatter and can be easily recognized. The connection of S-GND wire to the header pin is optional.

HEADER CONNECTION GUIDES


Diagram 1: On most motherboards, the USB header/pin-out consists of 9 pins arranged in 2 rows, which allows for 2 USB connections (i.e. USB1 and USB2). Normally, the pins for USB1 and USB2 are in seperate rows.
Diagram 2: Simply plug the connector onto the 5-pins row, and make sure that the pin assignments and wire assignments are matched correctly.
Diagram 3: Alternatively, you can plug the connector onto the 4-pins row, and leave the S-GND wire unconnected.
You might have to rearrange the wires to match with the pin assignments, or change the header connector if necessary, depending on the layout of the USB header.
On some motherboards, there is a NC pin in the USB header. You can connect the S-GND wire onto this pin. NC simply means "no connection" and NC pin is an "empty" pin.
2X5 PINS HEADER
Refer to the diagram below, for 2x5 pins header, simply plug the connector onto one row of the pins, and always make sure that pin assignments and wire assignments are matched correctly. You might have to rearrange the wires if necessary.


2X4 PINS HEADER
Refer to the diagram below, for 2x4 pins header, simply plug the connector onto one row of the pins. Please note that there is no S-GND pin in this header. You can leave the S-GND wire unconnected. You might have to rearrange the wires if necessary, in such that the wire assignments and pins assignments are matched correctly.



ACTIVE PINS NOT IN THE SAME ROW

On some motherboards, the 4 active pins are not located in the same row, as shown in the example below:

To connect to this type of USB header, you need to change the header connector to 2x5. Simply rearrange the wires within the 2x5 connector to match with the pin assignments. If the green wire is connected to the USB2+ pin, the white wire must be connected to the USB2- pin. The red wire can be connected to any +5V pin, and the black (GND) wire to any GND pin. If there is no S-GND pin provided, you can leave the S-GND wire unconnected.

Wire diagram for a 1998 s70 T5 VOLVO

If you want a wiring diagram, the best place to get access to this information is alldatadiy.com. There you can have access to the same information system that I would use if you brought your vehicle to me for repair. The small annual fee is well worth it if you work on your own car.

Other than that, All I know to tell you is to scan your onboard computer system to see if any of the computer modules are reporting any circuit faults - this can possibly tell you what the wire goes to.

It is also possible that the wire is NOT SUPPOSED to be connected to anything. It may be some type of diagnostic connector or it may be a connector that is built-in to the wiring harness, but is for an option or accessory that your vehicle is not equipped with (this is very common).

I brought a central locking kit for a mark 4 golf 1.6 automatic and i need to know what wire's need cutting?

There is no need to cut wires, you just remove the old one by disconnecting the connectors. If you start cutting, you'll just destroy the wire harness and defeat the concept of connectors. Besides you don't have a diagram of the electrical system. Now if this is an aftermarket unit, all I can say is good luck trying to adopt that system to your immobilizer system (anti theft).

Bluetooth wiring diagram

you will need to search for a wiring diagram for your model of car radio

car kit blue - connect to ignition cable OR connects to switched 12v cable going to radio
car kit red - Direct to +terminal of battery OR to constant 12v cable going to radio
car kit black - connects to GROUND going to radio
car kit yellow - connects to mute function of radio if your radio supports it.

OR
connect blue and red together and directly to battery
and connect black to Body of vehicle
(not recommended as could result in draining of battery, even thought the kit is supposed to prevent this).

I have 3in1 USB 2.0 to IDE & SATA Cable but nothing to show me how to use this kit

The internal connect kit consists of 1 red USB connector cable
and 1 internal white male molex connector to SATA female power connector
( 1 yellow wire , 2 black wires , 1 red wire )

the external connect kit
consists of a 3 pin power adaptor (with a tiny plug to save space) feeding a power supply which powers either IDE thru a Molex connector or SATA through a supplied adaptor. Supplied also are data connectors to link the IDE or SATA hard drive with a USB port. Use this adaptor set to retrieve data from a hard drive when it is not mounted in a computer.

The 7812 device is a voltage regulator. Either the reg has failed or the input to the reg is no longer approx 12volts. It should be more than 12volts so that the reg can control the o/p .
