    Hi all
    To unlock a blackberry phone you must provide the IMEI and also the Mep code.
    If you don't have, this is a small tutorial on how to get your BLACKBERRY imei & MEP
    After that use the blackberry code calculator to generate the code.

Did you mean by using a phone jailbreak software? You can't unlock your phone in that way and you only need blackberry 8900 unlock code to unlock your phone by your hand. A reliable blackberry unlock code only can be obtained from your network provider or purchased at third parties sites.

There are two methods for unlocking Blackberry 8900 by MEP number or BY IMEI#.
The simplest method for unlocking by IMEI#.
You can find your Blackberry Bold IMEI number by follow one of these steps.

1.By Pressing *#06# into the phone.
2.On your Blackberry cell phone, go to Options-->Status.
3.put the battery out,there should be a white sticker it will show your Blackberry IMEI #.

Hey, can anyone sned me a MEP code for a a BB 8900
as far as I knowfree codes does not unlock your phone, so even if you would find a unlock codeor whatever you'd have to spend some money.
