Our Samsung HT-C6900W Theater System shut off yesterday and then said it was in protect mode, now we cant get it turn on. This system is only 3 months old. Can you help?

The problem is with the amplifier overheating so the system shuts down to protect itself.

Make sure the ventilation fan is not block or obstructed.

If this is OK then contact your supplier with the equipments warranty.

Samsung Digital Home Theater System keeps shutting down not even a full minute after turning it on. What's the problem?

it means the home theater is over heating and the unit will shut down to prevent any damage. This can happen if the unit is stacked along with other electronic devices or the unit is in an enclosed area that prevents the unit from cooling properly. To decrease the chance of overheating, relocate your home theater to a more open area.

If the home theater display reads PROTECTION every time you turn it on, no matter where or how the unit is placed, it needs service. To set up service call Samsung Customer Care at 1-800-SAMSUNG (1-800-726-7864). Have your model number and serial number on hand to set up service.

sounds like you may have your speakers connected wrong or too many speakers. Check all your speaker wires for a goo tight connection and speaker compatibility with your Home theater system. Hope this will help you

Install MS office home and student 2007

Reboot

Shut down any active protection software such any antivirus, antispyware, antitrojan, or registry monitoring software.

Try to Unistall by using the install disk. It should detect a previous installation and ask if you want to Install, Repair, or Uninstall.

If that fails, download and run CCleaner - Use the Cleaner and Regisrty modules default settings
http://www.ccleaner.com/

Reboot, and shut down active protection software.

Download and run Windows Installer CleanUp Utility.
http://support.microsoft.com/KB/290301
Remove the applicable entries.

Reboot, and shut down active protection software.

Reinstall

Hope this helps - good luck!
