You can`t turn your idle up.It is all controlled by the computer.You should clean the throttle body and idle air control seat.Make sure the egr valve is not sticking.Might have to perform an idle learn procedure.This can only be done with a scan tool.Hope this helps.Good luck.
Have you checked the fuse? Mine keeps blowing the fuse (located on the back of the control panel) with each startup and shutdown or use of idle control.
