For CRT projection TV's, this indicates that the Green picture tube is burned (warn out). The less green that strikes the screen, the more redish the image will look. You will need to find an old school TV repair shop that knows how to replace picture tubes.
In the case of a DLP style TV, the color wheel needs replacing.

Sounds lamp in TV getting weaker and soon it will be replaced.

You are missing either red drive signal to CRT or you have a cold / fractured solder joint on the television. Also with the set unplugged check with a non metalic object like a ruler or a wooden spoon and start tapping around in the front or back of set and see what happens. STK394-160E upgrade part # CZ 01341 Hitachi brand.....Original part is STK392-110......Also, check B+ feed resistors next to
convergence amp IC's for burn / damage...after rebuild, press magic focus.......................T.
