Virous in removeble harddisk

Check all your connections, If the fault remains try with a new Data cable.

buy a new 1 and replace your hard disk it's totally crashed..

connect the USB external hard disk to usb port by the way disconnect other working harddisks
available on the system, boot the system with bootable cd/floppy go to command prompt and run
chkdsk on this drive

Also download "mbrfix" connect all working harddisks along with the nondetecting harddisk and run mbrfix for the USB defective harddisk

Try using different USB data transfer cable, if power source adapter is used check for rated power output in multimeter for this adapter, if found defective replace it with new/good adapter with same
specifications

Bad luck if harddisk controller has failed you have to go in for new harddisk

windows xp setup not creat the partation.
and not show the tha harddisk,but harddisk are showing the bios setup.
my system is ACER ASPIRE tower Casing.

plz tell us that you brought external or internal hard disk. if he brought internal hard disk then plz tell us that is sata or pata. if you don't know more abt hard disk then you see the label of the hard disk and if it is has 40 pins back side then firstly swithch off the power then you open your cabinet and put the power cable of smps and plug it to hard disk and then attached the 40 pin data cable to the motherboard and another point to the hard disk then turn on the power. then you see the new harddisk in window explorer partation it and use it.

when you connect your wd hard disk to your system it says a new hardware found and plz upload a driver for this. an another hand your pen drive will accepted.
if you make the external harddisk partition in a another pc. then it possible that is not show the patation of your external hdd partation. or it possible that is show the drive letter but nothing to open in the drive.
i suggest you to plug the hard disk with system and boot the pc. after booting process nothing shows then you download a proper driver form site. and upload to your system. if nothing then happen you partation it again. it sove your problem.

Seems you got a broken down drive, you can try it on another computer to see if the issue persits or take it to a computer repair shop to get it tested, no not wallmart, some real computer repair place

better to dump your data from main hard disk then once reformat your main hard disk then that external hard disk work properly .............
