Oven doesnt heat, after a few minutes displays error code F3 E2
When attempting to heat my whirlpool accubake the electric element does not warm up--I have checked the contacts and they seem to be ok. after a few minutes it beeps and shows on the display F3 E2. Any ideas what this means and how I can fix it?

Whirlpool F3 faults relate to temperature problems in the oven. In the case of the error E2-F3, F3 is the general fault code and E2 is the specific error code. An E0-F3 error indicates that the oven's temperature sensor is open; E1-F3, that the temperature sensor is shorted; E2-F3, that the oven temperature has exceeded the maximum rated 575 degrees Fahrenheit in "Cook" mode; and E3-F3, that the oven temperature has exceeded the maximum rated 950 degrees Fahrenheit in the clean mode. This can be caused by a failed temperature sensor probe, a wiring problem between the sensor and the control board, or a failed electronic oven control board. If the oven is apparently not overheating when this error code appears, then your likely failure is the temperature sensor probe. If the oven is overheating, then you likely have a failed electronic oven control board due to a stuck relay not cycling the oven heating element off properly.

At room temperature, sensor resistance should be 1K to 1.1K. If not, replace the sensor. If the sensor checks okay, replace the control.
