Preheat takes too long - Frigidaire Ovens

During preheat - all the element are turned on to reduce the time it takes to get to temp - if preheat is slowly - the cause is most like one of the element are bad

Try checking the heating elements on the top might have come loose

I know from your post that your Frigidaire oven is working but the preheat takes 30 minutes. This does sound like lengthy amount of time for preheat to be completed. From what you are describing it could be an issue with the panel, element, or thermostat. Since it could be anyone of these underlying issues I would recommend having a professional come out to diagnose your refrigerator to determine the root cause to reduce the risk of unnecessary parts. -Matt

if the oven has a glow bar it,s not staying hot enough to keep the main burner on change the glow bar

check to see if both broil and bake elements/gas works

Your temperature sensor is failing. Replace the temp sensor.

Both the broil and the bake heating elements are on during preheat. I would take a look as it appears that your broil element needs to be replaced.

most ovens take 15-25 min to preheat.
