It sounds like there may be a problem with the vacuum's sensor that detects when the bag or filter is full. Here are some troubleshooting steps you can try to fix the issue:
Check the bag and filter: Make sure that the bag and filter are properly installed and not damaged. If the bag or filter is damaged or not properly installed, it can cause the sensor to malfunction.
Reset the sensor: Some Nilfisk vacuums have a reset button or switch that can be used to reset the sensor. Check the owner's manual or the vacuum itself for a reset button or switch and try resetting the sensor.
Clean the sensor: Dust and debris can sometimes accumulate on the sensor and cause it to malfunction. To clean the sensor, turn off the vacuum and unplug it from the electrical outlet. Locate the sensor and use a small brush or compressed air to carefully clean it.
If these troubleshooting steps do not resolve the issue, it is possible that the sensor itself is damaged or malfunctioning. In this case, it may be necessary to have the sensor repaired or replaced by a professional.

DC25. If you haven't tried this already, try pushing the filter firmly into place until you hear an audible click. This should stop the filter popping out of place. ..
1. Remove dust collector compartment/s. Look for any filters, remove and clean. (Make sure you DO NOT clean filters with water.) Take filter/s outside and "slap" them against a flat surface. (Filter will be very messy to clean)
2. Replace all filters and compartments.
3. Also try using a wire hanger and try to reach as far down the hose as possible to remove any obstruction/s.
Note: Clean vacuum filters frequently to ensure proper suction.
Your wet/dry vac came with 2 filters. Paper for dust and dirt and Foam for wet/dry use. If you left the paper filter on and tried to vacuum a wet surface, you most likely shredded your paper filter and clogged the outlet vent above your water shut-off float. You should always use a filter to prevent clogging of the cyclonic impeller blades next to the motor. When extracting water or moisture you will need to use the Foam filter to prevent water from collecting in your fan blade area which then creeps to the motor eventually causing it to seize up.
That is the problem with the bagless cleaners. The dirt goes through the cup, directly to the filter. There is nothing to keep them seperate. You can try putting a single layer of paper towel against the filter. It will provide a breathable barrier for the dirt but, it will clog too.
Take the filter out and hold your hand over the filter connection. Turn it on and see where the air is being bypassed. What you see should suggest the fix.
