If your Centro is in warranty then you should probably take it to a Verizon store and let them repair or replace it.
If you want to try to fix it yourself, a Google search for "palm centro screen replacement" will show you several sources for the parts needed. There are also some special tools you may need to buy. This video shows the process and should help you decide if this is something you want to try:
their is actualy a program you can download off centro's site that will allow you too unlock your phone, and also CNET.com may have a download for it........
Generally, 160 is the default limit for text messages. Some carriers will allow for up to 500 characters but that's usually within the same network (e.g. Verizon to Verizon). This is why text messages often use modified words (e.g. r u ok?, lol).
The Centro and Treo are virtually identical. Have you tried reinstalling the applications from scratch on the Centro (vs. relying on Palm synch to automatically synch all applications)?
