Best would be to perform a hard reset. This will delete all your contacts, but also all your other data on your phone as well such as mail, sms, call log, settings etc.

Unscrew the tip from your stylus

Locate the "RESET" hole on the back of your Treo 600

Press and hold the power button on the top of your Treo and then press the reset button with the stylus pin

Remove the pin from the reset hole FIRST, and then release the power button.

The issue can be one of 3 things.

1. the charger doesn't work properly anymore - if possible try another charger. Don't buy a new charger, if possible borrow or take it to someone to test. --- If the phone works with the charger but the battery wont hold charge, then the charger is fine go to 2.

2. the battery is dead. And would need to be replaced. this is the most likely problem.

if this does not fix the problem then. the problem could be the charger (1) or most likely the mainboard (3)

3. the phones mainboard is faulty and its unable to charge the battery.

You could try doing a hard reset, but its unlikely to help, the phone probably needs repairs. (A hard reset will delete everything on your device.)

if the problem remains after replacing the battery and trying another charger even and hard reset, then the phone is most likely in need of repair.

call to your wireless provider and they will help you turn it on

Check if your ringer volume is turned to low. Adjustment buttons are at the left side of the phone. Check also Prefs under applications - you can set your tones volume there.

here are a couple of solutions, try them in order.

1.start making adjustments inward until the tap is registered and accepted. Once the phone allows you to pass this step, you can try to recalibrate the screen from the preferences.

2. Do a hard reset, to do this press the "up" button while pressing the "Reset" button

I's sorry to tell you your screen is dead. The screen is not displaying any information but the backlight is still functioning. This is the most expensive part of the phone as far as replacement parts and after-market parts. If you can fine one that is a reasonable price, you are very fortunate.

I have three screens like this at home. There are three layers to the screen, the backlight, the imager, and the digitizer. All three sandwiched together create the screen.

If the phone was on when you fished around the charge port, it is possible that you inadvertently caused a charge or grounded the charging/power circuit. You are fortunate that only the screen was damaged...if that's the only part that is damaged.

There are different codes for different service providers. Here are some of them.

For Sprint, Rogers, Bell or Verizon:
