Run two 6x8s on each of the front channels of the amp. then depending on the sub you can bridge it on the rear channels.only if its a single four ohm. if its a dual 2 ohm sub run each coil on each channel. 1 coil-1channel. the other coil-the other channel. amp should run fine may run a little hot since it will be doing all it can do at a safe ohm load. just make sure it is mounted in a well vented area. should be safe.

Hello mate, you can do one of two things, you can either google your amp model and download a pdf file of the manual which explains all of what you are asking, or you can email me at [email protected] and i will email you the pdf file, hope this helps you, colin.

Sound is coming out but no bass

Make sure that the rca cables that you have coming out of the deck to the amp arent switched to highpass(no bass) and check the amp and make sure that the crossover is set to lowpass(LP) see if that helps

Alpine sub woofer

your speakers are hooked up wrong. hook both positives together and both negatives together and bridge it to the amp. if it is one channel hook it up as one together. if it is 2 channel hook positive to one side and negative to the other side.

Bass sounds only

That is tricky one. Did you try adjusting the EQ on both the stereo and the amp? Is the Mute turned on because it will act like that? Is both rca jacks plugged in on stereo and amp?

Hooking up a new 8" woofer speaker to my amplifier

If I'm reading the amp manual right, you should be able to connect the amp in 3 channel mode. To do this:
  • Connect both left door speakers in parallel to Ch A Left.
  • Connect both right door speakers in parallel to Ch A Right.
  • Bridge Ch B and connect it to the new 8" sub.
  • Set the Ch A LPF/HPF to HPF.
  • Set the Ch B LPF/HPF to LPF.
This should allow you to run all 4 door speakers and the sub from the amp. It will also automatically route non-bass to the door speakers and "only bass" to the sub.

How can i get my power to my EQ?

What kind of eq is it? First thing I would do is hook up the +12 and GND to the same place the amp is hooked up. I think the eq is having a hard time getting ample current, therefore shutting off all the way when the bass hits. Caps are good, but second battery and battery isolator are far superior.
