Tip & How-To about Office Equipment & Supplies

HOW TO MAINTAIN CLEAN COPIER

In order to maintain clean copier, you should always do the following;

a. Avoid keeping it on direct sunlight
b. Avoid dust as much as possible
c. Don't keep it near a leaking roof.
d. When wiping the floor, cover the copier with dust proof dustcover since invisible dust flows at this time.
e. Do not keep foods and some edible materials in the same room with the copier as this will attract pests which harms the machine. For example, cockroaches enter the machine and makes stubborn stains which discolors the copier.
f. When handling your machine, make sure your hands are clean and not oily as you should know that, skin perfumes and hair conditioners are oily and will make dirts stick on your copier.Also wipe dry your hands with a clean towel since watery hands will spread some stains around wherever you touch.
g. After work, wipe it with a clean cloth dampened with water and soap. Wipe dry with a clean cloth . This should only apply to side covers and scanner glass.
h. When completely dry, you can use a window cleaner to shine it clean and cover it with waterproof and dust proof cover and leave it like that till the next days work.

If you follow this tip on daily basis, service and maintenance will be greatly reduced. Try it and you won't regret.

Does exposure to direct sunlight affect leather beds?

Leather beds, just like fabric beds, are not immune to the fading effect of direct sunlight. Even if you bought a quality leather bed you should avoid exposing it to direct sunlight in order to properly maintain the bed.

I replaced all the ink on my brother MFC4420C, I don't get any error message, but nothing prints when i try to make a copy

i think theres a problem with your printer maybe you use a compatible ink or your using your printer very minimal. follow this simple steps; try to clean the nozzle (properties then click maintenance on you pc ) repeat untill its ok. Avoid using Fast draft so it may only help clogging the printer head Use NORMAL PRINTING. Try to print one page every day to avoid head clogging . Finally, don't place your printer on direct sunlight.
