Well you haven''t said what caused you to replace the lamp. But If the TV just went out and you thought it was the lamp dont throw away the old lamp yet. You have the "Green Blinking Light Of Death". First I would tell you to place the new bulb in the old housing. I have found that many of the Ebay replacement bulb housings just dont seat too well. Make sure to wear a golve to prevent getting any oil on the lamp. It an easy swap. Swap the bulbs and do a reset. If that does not fix it the Google "Mitsubishi GBLOD" tons of info oout there. If you are thinking of repairing it yourself ( I have fixed 2 myelf) Email [email protected] and ask for the repair info for the Mitsubishi 52525 He has a great libary of info he can send you and does it all for just donations.
It sounds Lamp got broken inside, please take out lamp from TV and check its glass tube. If found broken, replace it. Lamp replacement procedure is written in user manual page-95, click HERE to download user manual copy if required. Lamp is available in Part Store. Thanks.
double check the lamp.make shure the 2 wires were installed correctly.Also check the plug inside the tv where the lamp plugs in.They have a nasty habbit of coming loose.
Here's something that might also be useful. After you turn on
the set, and get the regular red blinky lights, hold down the Device
and Menu buttons together for about 5 seconds.
The Power light will start to flash in a two digit sequence.
For example, 3 flashes, then 7 flashes = 37.
Here are the error codes, and the corresponding problem:
12 = No error detected, check power supply.
32 = Lamp Cover is open.
33 = Air filter cover is open.
34 = Lamp abnormality
36 = Light Engine (DMD or Lamp Fan stopped)
37 = Exhaust or Lamp Ballast Fan stopped
