Maytag LSE7806A Top Load Stacked Washer/Dryer Logo

Maytag washer I have a Maytag, stackable washer and dryer. Model LSE7800ACW. Serial no. A5128597. The problem that I am having is with the washing machine. Several months ago the agitator started working long before the tub was filled with water. I have a laundry sink so I filled the tub with a garden hose but still had to keep a close watch because it would not turn off at the end of the cycle leading in to the machine trying to agitate again with no water in it. Being my busy time of year I put up with this problem bye by passing the safety switch and filling the tub by hand. After a few weeks the problem corrected itself and it worked fine for the last several weeks. Of course all good things come to an end, I am having the same problems again. I have checked the screens in the hoses and have plenty of water getting to the machine. ANY SUGGESTIONS?

Thank you for trying to help me out. My problem also started when the power went out while the tub was filling. I don’t find a fuse but I also don’t think that is the problem. The tub wants to fill, but the agitator runs when it shouldn’t. Now instead of turning the machine of and filling with a hose I unplug the motor wire from the “run relay” until the tub is full. By looking at the schematic I think that my problem is either the pressure switch (but the water turns off when full), the run relay (but the relay is not constantly on) or the motor interrupter which I am not sure what it is but I think it might be in the timer itself, also the timer does not shut off between cycles causing the machine to never shut off by itself.

    Thank you again, Flyponder

I found the problem to be the run relay switch was stuck in the on position. Thank everybody for trying to help.

Hey I have a Maytag PAV2300AWW and the first problem was the unit overflowed. So I tried blowing in the hose in the top panel and nothing.. Then, it started working again ( the water would turn off when it was supposed to) but you have to change the cycles manually and the machine will not agitate???

This is similar to a problem I had after my power suddenly went out while the washer was filling with water. When the power resumed the washer would no longer run water... all other systems (agitate, drain, spin) worked fine.

A 10 minute, $113 dollar service call revealed that there was a fuse inside the front upper left area that had blown. Remove the 2 screws at the bottom of the front panel to get access to the inside.

Check it out and replace it if necessary.

CHANGE THE DRYER BELT MODEL LSE7800ACW MAYTAG WASHER/DRYER COMBO

Hi...you can go to the following website and check out how the belt goes on the dryer.
On a front load dryer, you would normally remove the front to expose the drum and belt, after you remove the drum then that exposes the drum rollers, motor, idler arm pulley, etc.

HI. thanks for the question. you have a blown fuse ,inside the washer. remove the front panel. on the left ,you will find a small glass fuse .check that. if its failed you will be able to see, that the small metal strip inside the fuse is broken , if so replace the fuse. thanks the appliance doc . please rate my answer.

Maytag front lead stackable

That is correct. Take the screws out of the console up top. look for a burn mark on your circuit board. If it's on R11, replaced your door lock wax motor as well at the board.

Maytag lse7800acw

The motor is faulty. Either the relay contacts are stuck or there is a shorted winding. Best to replace the motor.
