I am not a toto expert but i think i understand the gravity control toilet concept.A gravity flush tank type toilet flushes do to the force of water traveling from the tank to the bowl in a small passageway and forces the water in the bowl towards the integral trap in the toilet. In other words the water isnt dumping quick enough or the passageway is restricted.,My guess is the flush valve isnt dumping all at once.

My toto neorest 500 "burps" when I flush but the water does not go down

The problem may be in the venting of the toilet. If the vent for the toilet is plugged or in the northern climates frosted shut the air in the toilet drain has nowhere to go when displaced by the flushing water so it backs up through the toilet and causes the "burping" you mentioned. Hope this helps.

The water level in my Toto Drake toilet bowl is normal right after a flush, but often is very low a few hours later.

The bowl is cracked and is leaking down the drain. You will have to replace it. It may have cracked if the bowl hold-down bolts were overtightened, or the bowl was not able to sit flush (pardon the pun) on the floor. If the bowl rocks when it is first installed, instead of tightening the hold-down bolts, use a couple of tapered shims under the edge of it, then caulk to fill the gap and hide the shims.
Good luck.

Toto toilet does not flush properly - insufficient water to make it flush properly - need to pour water down toilet for it to flush. There is not any kind of blockage.

Check water level in tank for proper height it should be about 5/8 close to top of stand pipe in tank or it should have a mark on it wher it should be.

You can adjust the flush valve to increase water height.

Push Button - Have to Hold Down Button

I had the same problem. The fix cost me 50 cents (literally). I just placed a quarter on top of the Blue and White flush buttons (not sure of the technical terms) inside the tank and now it flushes properly. It seems that the 2 plastic poles the extend from the faux chrome buttons are just a bit too short.
Hope this helps
