Look for the NUM LOCK key on your keyboard.
Typically, you press the FN key (lower left corner) and the NUM LOCK key (typically towards the upper right) together to put the keyboard back into regular mode.
Make sure you pressed the wireless button. On my durabook it is located to the right of the power button. It should turn green. You can check you network status to see if you are connected, or what wireless networks near you are available. Secured networks need a key.
In order to reset the Master BIOS password on a durabook, you need to remove the CMOS battery and leave it out for a period of time.
This will reset everything and allow you to enter the BIOS screen again.
You can find the User Manual for the durabook here http://www.durabook.com/download/manuals/N1400_ALL_US.pdf
Hope this helps.
Some of the notbooks have a lock on it to prevent accidental drop and open of the disk drive. Is there a switch and a button on the front? if so hold the switch and push the enject button at the same time.
Your number lock is on. Look for a small picture that looks like a calculator on your keyboard keys (possibly on one of the F keys at the top). Press the Fn key plus the key with the calculator pic to turn number lock off.
