Whirlpool dishwasher This dishwasher quit in the middle of a wash cycle,we had to empty it and wash by hand. I thought that maybe the breaker to the dishwasher popped but when checked it had not .I then noticed that there are no lights on the electronic key board .Even when not in use there should be one red LED that is lit. It almost seems as if there is no power to the dishwasher. Is there some type of backup safety switch or breaker on the dishwasher itself that I could reset?

The dishwasher will not come on. It quit in the middle of a washing cycle and has not come on since. I believe a very strong magnet on the dishwasher has affected the electronics. Any ideas? The dishwasher will not come on. It quit in the middle of a washing cycle and has not come on since. I believe a very strong magnet on the dishwasher has affected the electronics. Same issue I have, replaced the circuit board and then the keypad, still no lights. I used a meter to test I was getting power to the board as far as possible using the included circuit diagram. No luck.

If your dishwasher is a whirlpool or IKEA then maybe the answer given by emmanuelr in "Whirlpool dishwasher ADP5962 F7 error code" may do the trick. It certainly worked for me. Bit technical but if you are happy taking the sidepanels off the thing then the fix may be easy.
I had the same problem with a Hobart AM8 passthru dishwasher. The electrician determined that some of the wires had become exposed and were wet, thus shorting things out and tripping the breaker.
My Whirlpool Quiet Wash plus dishwasher seems to have died. No power. None of the buttons work, it quiet mid-cycle. No breaker issue, my garbage disposal runs off same breaker and is working fine. Any ideas? I was thinking the comp. board that the buttons work off of is fried. If this is the case any idea how much to replace it? Would it be cheaper to buy a new dishwasher?
Zanussi Aquapulse dishwasher - is filled with water inside, is not washing and the lights keep flashing on and off - has anyone any idea what may be wrong with it?
