This set needs a fluid change. Between the face of the picture tubes and projection lens there is a layer of coolant fluid. The fluid has turned a milky brown color and is degrading the picture. The tubes have to be removed in order to do this properly. I would suggest you contact a repair shop and have them check it out for you as this can be very complicated. At the upper left and lower right corners of the screen there is a red shadow. In the menu I cannot adjust the red in these areas. it is a full cross out of alignment.

Try adjusting the convergence. If it won't move see below- red IC in particular
This sounds like convergence output IC problem. convergence board would have to be removed - remove and replace 2 STK IC's and check the surrounding resistors. Shops usually charge between $200-$400 Be sure to vote/rate me if this helped Thanks!
