My problem is the same. overflowing during the rinse cycle. However, it only happens on occasion. Doesn't always happen with a big load. Where can I get a users manual that shows the parts and electric connections. I don't know where the fill valve is or the timer that sends the voltage to the fill valve.

Washer overfills at rinse cycle. Washer will fill to correct level at beginning of rinse cycle, the rinse cycle will take 30 minutes to complete. During the 30 minutes, it will sit idle for about 8 minutes and then agitate for 30 seconds, sit idle for 8 minutes and then agitate for 30 seconds. This goes on for about 30 minutes and then will attempt to fill, but the original water in the tub never drained, so it will overflow. I have had three repair persons out. The water level swith and air pressure hose were checked out. Now they think it could be the outer tub. I bought the washer in 2003.

Kenmore Washer only leaking from one area

Ive never worked on a Kenmore but it may just be the overflow outlet. All washing machines have an overflow which will dump water out from the top of the tub if it overfills but sometimes on high fill water level, clothes can splash around and cause a "wave" of water to splash out over the overflow outlet. Check to see if the leak only occurs when you have selected high level fill.

Kenmore 80 series washer doesn't stop filling up with water

Almost went and bought a switch until I widened by search for "kenmore washer 80 series overflow" and came up with this:
http://www.fixya.com/support/t1206464-kenmore_80_series_overflow

Turns out that a couple weeks ago, I had a really unbalanced load that probably shook off the tubing. Anyhow, saved me a trip to the supply store AND cost. Thanks to the original poster!

Kenmore 80 Series top loader washer overflows

It will not be a sensor,,,it will be what is called a "Ball **** valve" and they are pretty cheap to replace.
This same valve is in your toilet tank.

Kenmore washer 80 series 110 model not spinning.

unless your washer is over 20 years old, then it wont have a belt. the temperature of the water wont have anything to do with it spinning or not.
need to know if it agitates or drains and just wont spin.
if it agitates but no spin or drain, then you have a bad lid switch.
if it wont agitate or spin, but will drain, then you have a broken drive coupling.

Kenmore 80 series overflow

Ok, it sounds either your hose from the water level pressure switch has come off or broke, or the pressure switch itself is bad.

Check the pressure switch hose first.

My tubing came loose and I just duct taped it back on and it works perfectly.

You would need to open your console as shown here:
http://www.applianceblog.com/mainfor...ead.php?t=1081
Pull forward and up on the console and you can hinge it open and hanging from the hinges.

Here is your water level pressure switch:

Kenmore 80 series overflowed!!!

The most common cause for this is the water mixing valve plunger sticking. the fix is to replace the mixing valve. Not so common is a defective water level pressure switch. Same fix, replace the switch. Really rare is a small leak in the tube from the tub to the pressure switch.
