What is the brand name and model name of your system?? Most HT systems do have a "RESET" button. For example on most Samsung systems you would hold down the "STOP" button on the DVD player for 5 seconds while the system is in the OFF position. The system will reset itself back to factory settings.

I have a JVC RX-501 reciver and 2 speakers Sony(200W). I start the reciver and After 3-4 seconds it S make a sound like" bun bun " that S all... After 1-2 minute again..

The sound you're hearing could be due to a variety of reasons, such as a loose connection, a malfunctioning component, or a power issue. Here are some steps you can take to troubleshoot the issue:

Check the speaker connections: Ensure that the speaker wires are properly connected to the receiver and the speakers. Make sure that the positive and negative terminals are correctly aligned. You can also try disconnecting and reconnecting the wires to ensure a secure connection.

Check the power source: Ensure that the receiver is plugged into a working power outlet and that the power cord is securely connected to the receiver. You can also try plugging the receiver into a different power outlet to see if that resolves the issue.
Check the volume level: Ensure that the volume level on the receiver is not set too high. High volume levels can cause distortion and other issues.

Reset the receiver: Try resetting the receiver to its default settings. To do this, turn off the receiver and unplug it from the power source. Wait for a few minutes, then plug the receiver back in and turn it on.

If these suggestion don't help, you may have to seek professional repair.

I can't get any sound from my Kenwood vr 60rs can you help me?

Certainly! If you're not getting any sound from your Kenwood VR 60RS receiver, here are some troubleshooting steps you can try:
  1. Check the connections: Ensure that all audio cables, including speaker wires, are securely connected to the appropriate outputs and inputs on the receiver and speakers. Make sure there are no loose connections or frayed wires.
  2. Verify the input source: Confirm that you have selected the correct input source on the receiver. Use the input selector buttons or the remote control to cycle through the available sources and make sure you have chosen the desired audio input.
  3. Volume and mute settings: Check the volume level on the receiver and make sure it is set to an audible level. Also, verify that the receiver is not muted. Look for a mute button on the front panel or the remote control and press it to unmute the audio.
  4. Speaker settings: Ensure that the speaker configuration settings on the receiver are properly configured. Verify that the speakers are set to the correct size, distance, and channel assignment. Consult the receiver's user manual for guidance on adjusting these settings.
  5. Test different speakers: If possible, try connecting different speakers to the receiver to rule out any issues with the speakers themselves. This will help determine if the problem lies with the receiver or the speakers.
  6. Factory reset: If none of the above steps work, you can try performing a factory reset on the receiver. Refer to the user manual for instructions on how to reset the receiver to its default settings. Note that this will erase any custom settings and preferences you have saved.

I have an Onkyo SR-TX806 and it displays video from HDMI OUT but can't find a signal from HDMI IN

It sounds like you're experiencing an issue with the HDMI input on your Onkyo receiver. Here are a few things you can try to troubleshoot the issue: Check the HDMI cable - Make sure that the HDMI cable you're using to connect your video source to the receiver is properly plugged in and functioning. Try swapping the cable with a new one to see if that resolves the issue. Check the video source - Make sure that the video source (e.g. cable box, Blu-ray player) is turned on and properly configured to output video over HDMI. Also, try connecting a different video source to the HDMI input on the receiver to see if the problem is with the receiver or the video source. Reset the receiver - Try resetting the receiver to its factory settings. To do this, turn off the receiver, then press and hold the "VCR/DVR" button on the front panel of the receiver while pressing the "On/Standby" button. The receiver should display "Clear" on the front panel display. Release the "VCR/DVR" button and the receiver should reset to its factory settings. Check for firmware updates - Go to the Onkyo website and check if there are any firmware updates available for your receiver. If there are, download and install the update to see if it resolves the issue. If none of these steps resolve the issue, it may be a hardware problem with the HDMI input on the receiver. In this case, you may need to have the receiver serviced by a professional technician.

I have a Denon AVR 3310CI everything appears to work HDMI inputs recognizes speakers but zero sound ???

If you have verified that the Denon AVR 3310CI is properly configured and connected to the speakers but are still unable to hear anything, you can try the following troubleshooting procedures:
Examine the HDMI cables: Check to see that the HDMI cables are securely connected to the HDMI output port on your source device and the HDMI input ports on the receiver's back. To see if that resolves the issue, try substituting new HDMI cables.
The microprocessor must be reset: The functions of the Denon AVR 3310CI are controlled by a microprocessor. Try powering the receiver back on while simultaneously holding down the "Power" and "Speaker A" buttons to reset the microprocessor.
Check the settings for the sound: Check that the sound settings on the receiver are set up correctly. To ensure that the settings are optimized for your particular setup, check the model's manual.
Aktualize the firmware: Check to see if the Denon AVR 3310CI's firmware can be updated. For additional information on how to update the firmware, you can visit the Denon website or get in touch with their customer support.
Use a different source to test: To determine whether the issue is with the receiver or the original source device, test it with a different source device.

It was working but there's no sound to my speakers from my naka michi RE - 3 vintage

If there is no sound coming from your speakers connected to the Naka Michi RE-3 vintage receiver, you can try the following troubleshooting steps:
1. Check Speaker Connections: Ensure that the speaker wires are properly connected to the appropriate speaker outputs on the Naka Michi RE-3 receiver and that they are securely attached to the corresponding terminals on the speakers. Verify that the connections are not loose or damaged.
2. Speaker A/B Selection: If your receiver has multiple speaker outputs or A/B speaker selection options, make sure the correct speakers are selected and enabled. Check the receiver's front panel or remote control for speaker selection buttons and confirm that the desired speaker configuration is chosen.
3. Volume and Mute: Ensure that the volume on the receiver is turned up to an audible level. Also, check if the receiver or remote control has a mute function enabled, and deactivate it if necessary.
4. Input Selection: Verify that the correct input source is selected on the receiver. Use the input selector buttons on the front panel or remote control to cycle through the available input options until you find the one connected to your audio source.
5. Test Different Inputs: Try connecting a different audio source (such as a different device or source) to the receiver and see if there is any sound output. This will help determine if the issue is specific to the current input or if it is a broader problem with the receiver.
6. Check Speaker Impedance: Ensure that the impedance of the speakers matches the recommended range for the Naka Michi RE-3 receiver. Using speakers with an impedance outside of the recommended range can result in low or no sound output.
7. Reset or Power Cycle: If none of the above steps resolve the issue, you can try resetting the receiver to its factory defaults or power cycling it by unplugging it from the power source for a few minutes and then plugging it back in.
If the issue persists after performing these troubleshooting steps, it may indicate a problem with the receiver's internal components or circuitry. In that case, it is recommended to contact a professional technician or Naka Michi customer support for further assistance or to schedule a repair.
