Identify first if it is a "screw on back" or a "pop off" back. Screw on backs have multiple indentions on the caseback where a special tool fits in the grooves to twist it on and off. If it is a screw type back then you will either need to buy a pricey caseback wrench or take it to a jewelry store that changes watch batteries.
A pop off back will have a smooth caseback with no indentions on it.
Most of these are "pop off" backs. to pop the back off get a very sharp blade and apply pressure at about a 30degree angle between the case and the caseback on the underside of your watch. From there you should be able to pry it and it should pop right off. Another way is to put a razorblade between the case and caseback, tap the blade with a small hammer (lightly!) and then pry the back off.

How to change battery on disney accutime watch and what type of battery is needed. Thanks!

You won't know what battery it takes until you pop the back off and see what battery is in there. I've opened two identical watches and on the inside they had different movements that required two completely different size batteries. The trickiest part with Disney watches I've done is if it's musical, getting that to reset. Be careful, a lot of people don't realize how easy it is to mess up those tiny little parts, get dust in there, put the back back on wrong etc...

How do you take the back of a wrist watch off so you can change the battery

The Proper way is with a "watch case wrench". They can be purchased for a few dollars on Amazon and E-bay. In most cases unless you are changing many watch batteries the best option is to call around to local jewelers and pawn shops and ask how much to replace a watch battery. In my town it ranges from $30 to as little as $5.99 battery included.

I am changing the battery in my Disney wrist watch and it says to short-circuit the AC terminal and the battery surface with tweezers, AFTER installing the new battery. Where IS the AC terminal and how...

Welcome to FixYa!
You actually do not need to do that. Your watch should be up and running after you change the battery. Short-circuiting the watch is for restoring it to factory settings and it should be done by a watch professional. Doing a wrong short circuit will can damage your watch permanently.
Thank you for using FixYa. Have a great day.

How do i set time back and have watch work again

This model has a pull out crown (the middle "button") on the side of your watch. Simply pull the crown out and turn to set the time. If your watch is not working after this then it likely needs a battery change.

During a workout my watch stopped working it appears to be frozen and will not do anything

NO, don't open the back cover you will break the water seal.

Reset the wrist unit. Resetting clears the date and time settings.
Press all buttons except the Light button at the same time until the display is filled with digits. Press OK.

If this does not work, have the batteries checked.
