No. This set has no Menu button on its front panel to change and select input options. You must have a remote control do do it.

That's a clear indication that you have a bad power supply in your TV.
If you know how to DiY...I suggest you open your TV. Locate the power supply section, it is where the end of the power plug is connected. Replace all blown or bulge or leaked capacitors with same value. That will fix your TV problem.
The hardest part is to disassembling your TV cover, cause you will need to pry off the snap in lock at the edge of your TV.

Power supply board should look like this. Examine the capacitors in the board


After replacing blown capacitors...it should work again.


Things you will need.
1. A plastic flat end screw or any object with flat ends....to fry off the cover
2. Soldering iron.
3. Soldering lead
4. Soldering pump.
5. Flat and Philip Screw
6. Replacement capacitors (of same value with the blown one) that you can buy to any electronics store.

Tries tv manual channels buttons up or down few times some analog tv will let go into the video mode.Not,try website like Remotes.com to buy the tv original remote.

most tv's have a manual av button.
if not try connecting your video and turn it on / off the tv may automatically select the vidoe.

During a recent move the remote was lost. I have the 6420FF in my son's room and trying to set up dvd and wi console set up, but cannot adjust tv via menu button on tv. Is there any way to set-up game system and/or dvd without remote?

Have you tried the search fuction,some of the remotes will search for a code that works.

Try looking on the manufacturers site or search on google for models that are compatible. Personally, I doubt it, but I could be worng.
