Signal strength went from Good to Low

Either move the computer closer to the router or the router closer to the computer. You could also try connecting the usb adapter to a usb hub to remove any interference from the computer.

I have a Belkin wireless router connected to a Virgin modem. Always has worked fine with a Compaq laptop and 2 Dell Inspiron netbooks with excellent signal. Now have tried to connect with an Acer Revo rl...

Hello,
The router is designed in such a that it is compatible with all the computers. The best way to get rid of this issue is log into the router interface and change the wireless channel to suit your requirement.
1) To begin with.. Open internet explorer on a computer connected to the router and delete everything from the address bar and type http://192.168.2.1 and hit enter. Now you will be in the Belkin Router setup. It will ask for a login password when you click on anything.. Leave the password field blank and click on submit. 2) Towards the left side under wireless click on "Channel and SSID". Now you see wireless channel change it to different channel and click on "OK / Save". Now check the signal strength in your Acer computer. If its still the same try different channel and check.
Hope this helped.

My icon says I only have 80% signal strength, is

80% is a good signal strength....but if you want to increase the signal strength, then you need to move the wireless router to a very ventilated area, also the router should be placed atleast 5 feet away from other electronic devices like, modem, ups, microwave ovens, refrigerators etc.... also there should be a line of sight between the router and the wi-fi adapter... but in order to connect to a wireless network 25% of signal strength is enough....

Trouble expanding my Belkin Powerline network

F5D4075 uses Homeplug AV standard and F5D4071 used Home plug 1.0 Turbo. Both are not compatible to each other. So if you form a network, you have to form with the same standard.
Secondly, You need just one Powerline adapter on the router and you can have 2 or 3 adapter connected to 1 computer each and all these computers can connect to the 1 adapter on the router. You do not have to use it in pairs

Cannot connect to the internet on Belkin Wireless G USB

I had a similar problem and solved it this way: Go to Start > All Programs > (the name of your USB adapter). In that folder there should be a "manager" or some type of program. Run it. One of the settings should read "AP mode" or "Station mode". When I switched from AP to Station, suddenly a list of available networks popped up. And my problem was solved. Hopefully that will work for you too. GregM23
