533-50 kitchen faucet leaks above base mount at pivot body when water is on and the faucet is pivoting to fill other sink.It dribbles out on counter top.Seems not to leak if faucet stays stationary. The joint for the handle body seems to have some up and down play in it.Maybe all it needs is to tighten it if possible. Thanks

There are O rings that seal the various body parts of this faucet. I would try turning off the supply lines, removing the handle, and unscrewing the faucet and the housings. Look for O rings that seal each part. Could be a broken, or maybe some foreign material has gotten in the O ring grooves. Best bet would be to replace any O rings and tighten it all back securely. It should not have any Up and Down play, should only swivel side to side. I'm thinking O rings. While there, you can replace the seat seals and springs, so that you preclude any leaks from the faucet itself. Lowes, Home Depot, carry the repair kits for these faucets at a reasonable price. And they usually include the allen wrench and wrench to remove the handle and the body parts. And they are relatively inexpensive. Around 4 to 6 dollars. Its an easy fix.

Faucet pivots ******* countertop

The best thing is replace it. If you are comfortable remove the spout from body and replace O rings and lube with silicon grease. Do not use plumbers grease, it will wash away. If the body eroded replace faucet. Look on line for parts list

Leaking Kohler Vinnata kitchen faucet.

you must use genuine kohler parts,if you got something from lowes or home depot that was some other brand they usually leak. also look for calcium build up inside the valve body, you can use 1500 grit wet sand paper to remove it just be carefull and dont sand too much, then apply water proof plumbers grease inside the valve body befor you install the new cartridge.

Leak at spout pivot point on Kohler K-378 traditional kitchen fau

Not going to stop the leak by tightening. Go to local plumbing or home store and they make a repair kit that has the pieces to fix your problem. Also has a diagram on the back of the kit to guide you, its really an easy fix, shut off water under the sink, both hot and cold, and just remove the handle and unscrewing the top of the valve assembly. Good luck dont forget to rate.
