If you have the duplexer installed and can use it in the copy mode fine then you probably don't have it installed under you printer setup screen. Just go to printers&faxes in Windows. Double click on the C350. Then click on properties, then upper left should be a configure or advanced tab which lists all the installed options. Make sure that duplex unit is installed and not disabled.
