If your refrigerator is short cycling, it can be caused by a number of issues including: An incorrectly set thermostat inside your refrigerator. Dirt and dust on the coils that prevents efficient operation. Faulty capacitors or relays that prevent the compressor from staying on. Apr 14, 2019
Yes. due to low rpm of fan motor in the condensor copil. or dirty condensor coil. I If so, replace fan capacitor.
If all good, check the seating of condensor set. It needs minimum 2mtrs open space for air throw. If not due to overheat compressor gets short cycling on and off.
I understand your Frigidaire freezer runs for a short time and then kicks off. Then it turns on with a click and repeats its cycle. This is how your freezer functions. When it needs to cool, the compressor will kick on and cool until the temperature is reached. Then it will kick off until it needs to cool again. It's possibly due to the hot and humid summer that it is cycling on and of more. I hope this is helpful.
Does the skybox make noise (like your refrigerator starting a cycle)? If not, I would unplug it for a short while and let it set. Then when you plug it back up listen for noises on whether the compressor kicks on or not. If it doesn't then you can check the cap and relay board. Or have your compressor checked for operation and freon.
