The heating element has failed or the thermostat isn't set to a warm enough temp.

SOURCE: Front air condition does not blow cold. Rear air condition does

sounds like a damper door in the front not working properly, these are actuated by the front temp control, the door is operated by either a manual cable, and electric actuator, or vacuum. I hope this helps you zero in on your problem. Merry Christmas

SOURCE: Kenmore 90 series electric dryer blowing cold air only

1st check the breakers
2nd check wiring in back to see connections are secure.
3rd check element. It would be burned in two.
4th check thermal overload switch which is located underneath top of dryer. Easy to remove top. Probably 4-6 screws.

SOURCE: electric dryer blowing cold air

You either have a blown fuse, breaker, burned out element, wiring that has come loose. They all can be checked within 5 minutes. However, I believe it is in the thermal fuse which is located below the top of the dryer. You can access that pretty easy though. To check it, just bypass it and put the 2 wires together and see if it runs. The fuse is only 15 dollars or so. I am assuming you have an electric dryer.

SOURCE: Front Blower

ok, missed the part about the rear ac working, the part that causes this is called the air temperature control blend door actuator motor, it is an electric motor driven gear drive that moves the plastic door inside the air ducking to mix or shut off the hot or cold air from the ac evaporator core or the heater core, you will need to replace it.

Testimonial: "Great thanks that could be my problem. Is the motor by the inside coil"

Yup, the blower is on a thermostatic switch. You may have some control of temp, but it has it's minimums.

My electric fire is just blowing cold air?

It sounds as if the heating element has burned out (which is very common with electric fireplaces) or it overheated and the overload switch turned the heater off. Since you didn't mention who the manufacturer of your fireplace is or the model number, it's hard to make any suggestion on how to solve the problem. Other than one: Turn the fireplace OFF, unplug it and wait 30 minutes to plug it back in and hopefully, it will reset itself.

Where does the FBK200 blower go in the Marco fireplace

As you are aware the Marco Fireplace Co is no longer in business. However, the blower model # you listed is a DESA/Vanguard part number. In any event, it may work.

The blower goes in the lower compartment (probably louvered) under the firebox. It is then attached to the rear wall of the compartment, with the blower output facing up the back wall of the firebox. There should be an arrow on the blower housing indicating which way it should point.

If your firebox is already wired for a blower and has a duplex receptacle in place (for the blower to plug into), you're in business. If it doesn't I highly recommend that you install one and not try to hard wire the blower.

The blower, if purchased new, should come will all the hardware to mount it. If it didn't you can use sheet metal screws to attach it to the rear wall of the firebox. However, make sure that you put a rubber flat washer behind the mounting frame and then screw thru it into the firebox wall. This will help eliminate vibration and noise.

Hope this helps to get you started.

The fireplace blower does not work therefore there is no or very little heat from my dimplex elect fireplace---thanks

This is a constant problem for ALL electric fireplaces with heaters. Either the Owners Manual fails to the manufacturer not telling you that the heating elements need routine cleaning, because they are sucking in household air to heat it and send it back out, So whatever is float in your household air (dust, lint & pet hair) near the floor goes into it, clogs it up and causes the heating element to overheat and fail. Or customers who have purchased these units don't read the Owners Manual.

These units, no matter who the manufacturer is were not designed to heat for long periods of time. In fact the heater element doesn't produce much more heat that a blow drier on high heat.

The heater and the blower and are in the lower compartment of the firebox. If you can access it, you can clean it with a shop vac and a brush attachment on the end of the hose. Be sure to unplug the fireplace from the wall outlet before attempting this. If cleaning it doesn't help, the blower motor will have to be replaced. You can order one from Dimplex USA.

I am looking for an installation manual for Model FUBSK blower motor kit. We bought a new home and the Lennox Superior wood burning fireplace Model BC-36 has a switch that should force heat out into the...

The fan should be installed behind the bottom grill, and then it should blow air around the firebox which then exits out the top grill. Now saying that, let me explain the actual problem you will face. Because you have a open faced wood fireplace, you will not get the heat your looking for, the fire needs 400 cubic feet of air per hour and that air is taken from your opening. Also the inner box doesn't heat up enuff to produce alot of heat on the skin so if you have the fan blowing full blast, it will only cycle the air and not allow it time to heat up as it cycles around the box. I suggest turning the fan speed down so its 1/2 way on or lower, this allows the air time to heat while cycling around the box, but in the end you still won't have a good heater as the fireplace itself isn't one, you should look at having it converted to direct vent gas or ripping it out and replacing it with a airtight wood.

Panasonic air con unit is not blowing cold air out.

This unit is use in motels etc. Check the ouside coil ( conderser) from the inside (discharge fan ) for dirt. Most of these units are floor level . This can cause a unit to short cycle ( cold air is at the floor) .
