Doesn't really matter much which device you have as Bluetooth functions when the 2 objects are quite close to each other and 30 feet should be the maximum.

Bluetooth only works for a short distance. That is the limitation here. So 30 feet is probably max range.

How do i connect my fitbit device to my verizon tablet.

Syncing Your Data

  • The Tracker will upload your data every 15 minutes provided you are within range of any plugged in base station (about 15 feet for direct line of sight), the computer is on and not in sleep or hibernate mode, the software is installed and running, and you have an active internet connection.
  • While out of range, the Tracker will look for a base station every minute until it syncs your data, after which it will wait 15 minutes before searching again.
  • You can see when the last successful sync occurred by viewing your main page at www.fitbit.com. Near your profile picture, you will see Synced with a time and date of your last sync.
  • If you want to force the Tracker to upload its data, place the Tracker on the base station.
  • While we recommend you sync your data regularly, the Tracker has the ability to store 7 days' worth of detailed, minute by minute data. It will store summary data (calories, distance, and steps) for the trailing 30 days. If you wait longer than 7 days before syncing, you will not see your minute by minute graphs (except on the most recent 7 days).
  • Your Tracker is able to sync from multiple computers, as long as each computer has the Fitbit software installed and a working base station is plugged in. You don't need to physically connect the devices. Simply down load the app and upload your info.

Whenever my wife and my fitbit trackers are downloading onto our apple desktop it freezes up. The mouse or keyboard will not respond to anything, so we have to turn the computer off.

Inspect the computer for compartibility systems to the apple devices. Usually prior devices that were manufactered of apple were incomparible with microsoft windows computers. The freezing is an incomparible effect also sysbol of unachievd installations. Receently apple has introduced devices that communcated with windows computers.

It seems that the signal is strong next to the router, but drops to 1 bar within 30 feet away? What is the most likely solution.

Hi,
Routers generally have a strong signal for up to 10 meters. However no obstacles should be in the way. 30 feets is about 10 meters so the router is loosing its signal strength. If you would like to extend the strength of your router you can buy a range expander. This device acts as a repeater of the signal so from 10 meters you can go to 15 or 20 meters.
