FIXYA is currently overwhelmed with fraudulent spam postings and free support is unable to block them. This has reduced usage of the site to a few experts, and a large number of spammers from overseas. Since site was sold several years ago, it has gone further downhill, so you may wish to seek support elsewhere instead. Complaints to this site have gone unanswered for some time.

the electronics lock out during power surges like you would get from brush failure giving e 21 error. you have to access service test prog to reset this, and it is not in public domain.
i do know how to reset it though but difficult to explain on this forum you may find a you tube video if you search online.

Why would I buy another traeger? I had a problem and you were totally unhelpful. I will buy another brand name for christmas -not an $800 traeger. You lost a customer.

This is unfortunate. I have a Traeger Junior that I have had for over two years and I've been totally happy with it. I've also found Traeger customer support to be excellent and very helpful. I wonder if you just posted a question here or did you go to the Traeger website at www.traegergrills.com. If you didn't go directly to Traeger then you may not have gone to the right place. Don't know if Traeger monitors Fixya regularly or not.

Fresh air intake door for cabin slaps back and forth several times before settling into position. Recirculate position makes no noise, just fresh air position.

my guess> , seeing as Im blind and most answers , not hands on and blind are totally a waste...... ask your mechanic.
the cable clamps fell off the cable driving this flap and is now loose.
the cable provides natural friction to prevent this.
but id have to , look.

Printer works ok in usb1 port but computer does not recognise it in usb2 port. This is on laptop with vista 32. On mac it sees the printer but it does not respond print request. Service error 300.

anon forces this error when you have printed and consummed the maximum amount of ink. It normally takes a very long time to get to this point. Canon has determined that once the amount of waste ink dumped reaches their limit, it is time to clean the entire machine. This is why they lock up the machine such that it will need to be serviced and totally cleaned inside. However many people have found out how to "Reset" the waste ink error and just proceed. This can be done but it is just asking for major problems down the road.

You don't want to reset the waste ink counter unless you have removed all of the waste ink. Unless you feel like totally dismantling your printer and hand washing the felt pads that are currently soaked in ink you'll probably want to have it serviced professionally or just replace it. Most times replacement is less expensive. Resetting the waste ink counter without cleaning out the waste ink can, and likely will, result in waste ink eventually overflowing out of the the bottom of your machine. Be cautious.

You need to clean off the two little soft spots on the neck of the waste bottle. A sensor looks through these soft spots to let it know to replace toner. If the soft spots are dirty then the message will never go away, even though the bottle is empty. If this doesnt help, then contact the seller of the machine and ask for tech service.
