F3 and flashing on Kenmore oven

Over-temp condition due to either oven temperature sensor or ERC (electronic range control).

Kenmore' F2 or F3 usually points to an open oven temperature sensor. If that is the problem, it's not an expensive repair.

most likely you have a control board problem, there would be many things i would have you check out and diagnose, could help you over the phone so you dont have to hire a service man, could supply the Kenmore Oven parts as well.

HI - The code described, F3 then F2 both correspond with indicated failure of the temperature sensor. This is a fairly inexpensive part and is easy to replace. The normal resistance of the sensor is 1000-1100ohms. Worth fixing for sure. Complete model number from tag on unit will be needed to get correct part. f3 is a bad sensor part number WP8053344 this reads the temp. in the oven just like on older ovens had a thermostat.if you look into the oven you'll see it go here and look at picture

i think f3 error code has something to do with the temp probe maybe it is the problem. the temp probe is located if you open the door directly in the back wall. it looks like a prong. should read 1100ohms the f2 error code though usually has something to do with the keypad i would check all the connections maybe they are loose.
